Funeral of E.P. Goodrich
Veteran Employee of Gas Light Company, Had Resided Here All His Life.
E.P. Goodrich, who died suddenly Thursday, was born in this city 67 years ago, and has thus been a resident all his life. He was employed in the office of the Washington Gas Light Company 31 years.
The Rev. Joseph Kelly of the Fourth Pres. Church officiated at the funeral yesterday at the residence of 1323 Clifton Street. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Goodrich leaves a widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Maury Goodrich, a son Charles E., now residing in Baltimore; two grandsons, Edward and Howard Goodrich, and a niece, Miss Emily Mew of 1410 Twenty-First Street Northwest. Mr. Goodrich was a cousin of the late Col. Wright Rives and Franklin Rives.
