MEDIA, Pa., March 28 - Captain Caleb Hoopes, an ex-sheriff of Delaware county, died here today, aged 90 years. He was a captain in the Ninety-seventh Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, at the time of the Civil War. He was a member of Post Bradbury, No. 149 G. A. R. of Media; a member of George W. Bartram Lodge, F. and A. M. of Media, and of the Rose Tree Lodge of Odd Fellows.
