Mrs. Jacob Jaeckels Passes Away—Leaves Four Children
Mrs. Anna Jaeckels, wife of Jacob, died Saturday evening at seven o'clock at her home in Merrill after a short illness. Mrs. Jaeckels was formerly Miss Anna Entringer of this city. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Entringer, 1010 Kentucky Avenue. The news of her death will be a shock to her many friends, in this city where she was well known. Mrs. Jaeckels was born in Manitowoc on January 13, 1870. In 1878 the family moved to this city, where afterward she was married. She leaves besides her husband and parents, four children, Anna, Katherine, Elizabeth and Mathias, six sisters, Mrs. Frank Bersch, Mrs. John Schaafs, of this city, Mrs. John Dietz of St. Cloud, Mrs. Joseph Multer of Haven, and Misses Gertrude and Margaret Entringer, of this city, and two brothers, Joseph and Nicholas of Sheboygan. The remains will arrive from Merrill tonight. The funeral will be held from the home Wednesday morning at eight o'clock. Burial will be in the South Side Catholic Cemetery. Rev. Fr. VanTreeck of St. Peter Claver church will officiate.
