Our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Claudia Mills, passed away on March 6, 2004 after a long, courageous battle with MS.

Claudia was born July 25, 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT, the daughter of Henrie Otto and DonaRae Liddle Robinson. Her childhood was spent growing up in Kearns, UT, and she was a graduate of Kearns High.

On Friday the 13th in April 1973, she married Michel Mills in the Salt Lake Temple. Although they were later divorced, their marriage gave her five beautiful children who were the center of her world. Claudia loved her family and she often did without things for herself so that she could give to her children. Claudia's devotion to her religion was an inspiration to all that knew her. In spite of being bedridden for the last few years of her life, she somehow found the strength to make it to church on Sunday. A portion of her strong testimony of the Gospel remains with everyone she met. Claudia loved to work in her garden and was very talented and made many wonderful crafts for her family and friends.

Claudia is survived by her children, Mindy (Jimi) Wilkes, Kimberly (Patrick), Clint (Jaci), Alisha (Clay), all of Kearns, and David, stationed in Fort Stewart, Georgia with the U.S. Army; mother, DonaRae Bennett, Kearns, UT; Father, Henrie O. Robinson, Salt Lake City, UT; and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Bruce (Lynn) Robinson, West Jordan, UT, Janine (Ellie) Moon, West Valley City, UT, Brian (Samantha) Bennett, West Valley City, UT, Shannon Bennett, Magna, UT; and her brother-in-law, Gaylon (Peggy) Winward, Riverton, UT. Claudia was preceded in death by her sister, Gayle Winward; and her stepparents, Max Bennett and Florence Robinson.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kearns Sixth Ward Chapel, 4260 West Sams Boulevard (5215 South). Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
