Private First Class Maurice Angland served with Company D of the 8th Engineers Combat Engineer Battalion in the 1st Cavalry Division during the Korean War.
He was KIA during at attack on enemy positions near Saemal, North Korea on October 4, 1951.
Angland was from County Cork, Ireland and enlisted in the Army in Chicago, Illinois.
