In later years, he was head of the Indiana Road Paving Company and retiring from that field he was a co-partner in Deniston and Garber Construction Company of this city. At the time of his death he was a co-owner of the Fulton County Beverage Distributing firm, of this city.
Roy was one of the founders of the Rochestr country club and served as its president for three different terms.
The son of William H. and Maria (HOOVER) DENISTON, he was born Sept. 9, 1882 in Rochester. Following his graduation from Rochester high school, he attended Purdue University where he took a civil engineering course. On June 24, 1903, he was married to Ada R. RANNELLS, of this city. She preceded him in death April 8, 1955.
