AUGUST KRAHN, 83, route 1, died at his home Sunday evening after a six-months illness. He was born Oct. 27, 1862 in Germany and came to the United States at the age of six. He lived in Morrison until 1911 when he moved to the farm near Brillion.
Survivors are the widow; one daughter, Mrs. Christ Hagenow, Reedsville; five sons, Charles, Rudolph and Alvin of here; Fred of Appleton and Herbert of Green Bay; one sister, Mrs. Henry Radtke, Wayside; 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the residence and at the Kasson Lutheran church. The Rev. Melvin Croll was in charge and burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
