Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for Felix Forney, 76, Haralson Avenue, Gadsden, who died Thursday, November 10, 1994. Burial will be in adjoining cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mr. Forney was a resident of Etowah County all of his life. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the army, serving in World War II and was retired from the Civil Service with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Euna Alverson Forney, Gadsden; sons, Jimmy Forney, Gadsden, an Steve Forney, Tallassee; daughters-in-law, Lynda Forney and Linda Forney; grandchildren, Robert Forney, Stacey Forney and Matt Forney, all of Tallassee, AL and Jana Forney, Gadsden; brother, Rex Forney, Gadsden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
