Henry Bellinger, age 77, former Septic Tank Keeper and Truck Gardener, living in the south west part of town, died at his home Sunday night after a week's illness. He had been in poor health the past few years, but had not been bedfast until a week ago.
{Henry, son of Luther Bellinger, New York, and Rebecca Anna Redding Mississippi} was Born at Vicksburg, Miss., on March 30, 1856, he came with his parents and family of nine other children and settled in Claremont Township where the family lived for many years, engaged in farming.
Henry Bellinger moved to Olney about thirty years ago, and during Dr. Fritschle's administration as mayor of Olney in 1917 he was apppointed septic tank keeper, where he remained until 1929.
He is survived by his wife(Mary Ellen Harmon Ennis Fore Bellinger) and two daughters, Mrs Nora Dunlap, of Olney, and Mrs. Ethel Way, of Newton. Also a step-daughter,Mrs. Lula[Ennis]Anders (Andrews), of Olney, and two brothers, Warren and Watt Bellinger, also of Olney. {Also 3 step-sons; Thomas Jefferson Ennis, Odis Cleveland Ennis and Charles Edward Ennis}
{Preceded in death were his parents, 2 Sisters Lucinda Kalhert of Chicago, Elizabeth Brothers and a brother; Luther of Vicksburg, Ms. and brother; Jacob Bellinger of Claremont twp.}
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Burial in Mt Pleasant cemetery in Claremont twp.
