Death is still busy in our midst and again this week we have to chronicle the death of an old and much respected resident. Mr. Chas. Coakwell was taken sick on Wednesday of last week with a cold and some stomach trouble and on Saturday afternoon his spirit passed away.
The members of his family; Mrs. Geo Robinson, Charles, Thomas and John who live near here, Barnett and William, farmers in Markham township and James, harness maker at Markham and his aged wife were all present at his bed side. The funeral was held on Monday and was very largely attended. Mr. Coakwell was in his 82nd year.
