Berneice Kohler Thacker, 81, of Orem, Utah passed away on September 3, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born November 23, 1918 in Midway, Utah to Frederick and Lucetta Clegg Kohler. She lived most of her life in Orem. She married Wilson Fonzo Thacker on October 23, 1937 in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 29, 1966. He preceded her in death.

Berneice was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a primary teacher of several years. She loved to go camping and spend time outdoors.

She is survived by her two sons, Allan D. (Bonita) Thacker, West Valley; and Gary L. (Rhona) Thacker, Orem; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl Kohler, Midway; and a sister, Blanche Lindsay, Mesa, Arizona.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 9, 2000 at 12 noon in the Orem North Stake Center, 1000 North Main Street. Friends may call at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church on Saturday morning from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to service. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
