Eldest daughter of George Sisley and Margaret Willson, Judith Sisley married Joseph Catharine Sterling 23 Nov 1842 at Toronto and together they had nine children. In 1851 and 1861 Joseph Sterling is listed as an inn keeper in Pickering, an occupation Judith continued when, unfortunately, she was widowed in 1862 leaving her with young children.
Judith died at the age of 92 of shock from a fall.
