Mrs. Walter Schroeder, aged 70, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Monday, October 13, at her home in Gravesville after an illness of several months, which became critical last Thursay.
Deceased was born April 7, 1871, in Quinney, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Brown. In March, 1887, she was united in marriage to John Broker in this city. Her husband died in 1906 and on October 2, 1912, she was married to Walter Schroeder in this city and the couple established a home in Gravesville where they lived until their deaths.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Claude (Dorothy) Muellenbach of Gravesville; three sons, Frank Broker of Manitowoc; Fred Broker of Madison and Elroy Broker of Milwaukee; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Nelson of Brothertown and Mrs. Carl Brandel of Gravesville.
The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer Funeral home in this city. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Augustines church, the Rev. H. Vande Castle officiating with internment in the church cemetery.
