Mrs. Julia Hankinson, born to the late Joseph and Zelmon Shumate in Tignall, GA., entered into rest on October 3, 2009 after an extended illness. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Hankinson. She leaves to cherish her memories: a very dear sister, Mrs. Ruth Banks; brother, Mr. A.D. Shumate; and a host of other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be conducted this Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 3 P.M. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Reverend John Holmes officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
