Mrs. Thena Bailey died last night at the home of her son, Ed. Bailey, in East Atchison. Mrs. Bailey was nearly 90 years old and had lived in and near East Atchison ever since the country was opened over fifty years ago. She was one of the early settlers, very few of whom are now left. Her husband has been dead since 1858. The funeral will occur from the home of Ed. Bailey at 10 o'clock tomorrow
morning. The remains will be interred at the Hudspeth cemetery.
