Mrs. Nicholas Kleinhans, 71, of R. 1, Kiel, died Tuesday morning at her home of an apparent heart attack.

The former Julia Muellenbach was born April 23, 1898 at Marytown, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Muellenbach and was married to Nicholas Kleinhans on September 23, 1919 at Marytown.

The couple farmed in the St. Nazianz area since their marriage. He died March 31, 1966. Mrs. Kleinhans was a member of the Christian Mother Society of St. Gregorys Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, and the Third Order of St. Frances.

Survivors include four sons; Glenroy of R. 2. Kiel; Lloyd of R. 2. Brillion; Wilfred of R. 1. Newton; and Joseph of R. 2. Brillion; 16 grandchildren; a brother, John of Marytown, and one sister, Mrs. Rose Schaefer of Fond du Lac. One brother and seven sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. at the Christianson Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregorys Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, with the Rev. Gregory Putzer, pastor celebrant of the funeral Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
