Aunt Harriet was the youngest child of Mary Jane Collins and George W. Turner Sr. She resided in River Head N.Y. for most of her life. My great aunt was single until her senior years but married Seldon Hatcher for a short time until his passing. I can recall as a child accompanying my mother to River Head to visit her aunts and uncles. It was always a joyous occasion for me and my brother. My brother and I were always amazed to see our grandpa George laugh and joke with his baby sister. Yes, Aunt Harriet was always very kind to us. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. May her soul be at peace with the Lord.
