Daniel Bauman was born 7 Apr 1784 and died Jan 1852. Catherine was born Sep 1793 and died 22 Sep 1859.

Daniel and Catherine had the following children: Elizabeth b. 15 Jul 1812, Jacob b. 30 Aug 1815, Gideon b. 1 Jun 1817, Henry b. 26 Feb 1819, John b. 8 Sep 1820, William b. 6 Sep 1822, Jehu b. 12 Sep 1824, Mathias b. 20 Aug 1826, Dina b. 9 May 1828, Simon b. 1 Jan 1831, Joel b. 27 Sep 1835, and Catherine b. 7 Mar 1838.

"Mrs Fritz, the aged mother of S. E. Fritz died at her home east of here Wednesday Dec. 11. The funeral was held from the Emerson M. E. church Friday at eleven o'clock conducted by the pastor, Rev G. W. Mayne. Mrs Fritz was one of our oldest residents and well thought of by all who knew her.
