Ruby Inez Morris, 85, a retired teacher's aid from Gadsden County, died Saturday, October 18, 2008. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at Antioch Baptist Church in Wetumpka, with burial at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2008, at Independent Funeral Home. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, with a great love for all children. Her husband, Ted Morris, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Daryl Morris (Shelby), of Wetumpka and Kirby Morris (Susie), of Quincy; a brother, Angus Parramore (Betty), of Quincy; two sisters, Helen Betts and Lois McPherson (Warren J.), all of Quincy; a sister-in-law, Hattie Parramore, of Quincy; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 105 N. Jackson St., Quincy, FL 32351 or Antioch Baptist Church, Building Fund, 284 McCall Bridge Road, Quincy FL 32351.
