Floyd Braneff, 67, of Fannett died Wednesday at Doctor's Hospital in Groves.
Graveside service will be at 2 pm Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Pat A Riley Funeral Home in Nederland. Visitation will begin at 2pm today at the funeral home.
A native of Starks, LA he lived in the Port Arthur and Fannett area 43 years and was a retired machinist of Texaco, INC in Port Arthur. He was a U S Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Braneff; stepdaughters, Margie Keniry of Canyon Lake and Betty Cheshire of St Louis MO; stepsons, Joe Woods of Menard and Pete Woods of Port Arthur; brothers, Melvin Braneff and Frank Braneff, both of DeQuincy, LA; sisters, Ada Berwick of Starks and Susie Bryant of DeQuincy; 11 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
