Tessie Myrel Keng, 70, fell asleep in death on Monday, November 15, 2004 in Houston, Texas, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She now rests until the resurrection that is promised by our heavenly creator, Almighty God Jehovah, in his Holy word, the Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Rosa Lee Beard; four brothers, Robert B., David L., Franklin D., and Bill Adrian Beard; one sister, Hazel Collins; and her late husband, Furmon Neil Shuffield. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday, November 18 and 19, 2004, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Freeway, Houston. A memorial service will he held on Saturday, November 20, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8413 Karen Street, Houston.
