Herbert "Ray" Adams, 74, of Little Rock, passed away October 13, 2009. Born July 29, 1935 in Bigelow, Arkansas to the late Herbert and Ona Johnson Adams, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Geraldine Horton and Earlene Mae Adams Akridge Cheek. Ray was a lifelong member of Bigelow Baptist Church and retired from Colonial Bakery, Balch Oldsmobile and Crain Automotive.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Perkins Adams; one stepdaughter and four stepsons.
