I recovered Jame's Bunce's headstone from the Townsend House Restaurant in Townsend, MA over 15 years ago. (about the year 2000). The owner of the restaurant had dug up the headstone while he was having a new septic system put it. The stone sat in the restaurant for over a decade until I came across it one day (1990). I did the research on the stone and with the help of then Cemetery Commissioner, Karen Campbell, we moved the stone from Townsend to Westford and re-installed the stone.
