Funeral service for Patricia Wallace, 70, will be Monday, November 3, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Chariton. Family will receive friends on Sunday from to 2 to 4 p.m at the funeral home. Interment at the Chariton Cemetery.
Memorials to the First United Methodist Church, Humane Society of Lucas County or the Parkinson's Foundation.
Patricia was born July 3, 1938 in Chariton, Iowa. She worked at the Lucas County Health Center as an RN for 30 years, retiring in 1990. She was a volunteer for the Humane Society of Lucas County and belonged to the First United Methodist Church. Patricia enjoyed camping, gardening, flowers and blue grass music.
Patricia passed away October 31, 2008 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her son, Merlin Wallace, and by her parents, Lowell and Elaine Baughman. She is survived by her husband, Warren; her daughter, Carolyn Elam of Chariton; her sister Diane DeBok of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; her aunt Patricia Coffey of Hot Springs, Ar.; and nephews Darrin DeBok and Brad DeBok.
