Michaelina (Malaski) Polzin was born in Germany on Septemeber 15, 1855, and emigrated to the US in 1876. She met Joseph A Polzin on a train and married him in 1877. Their children included Joseph J Polzin, John Joseph Polzin, George James Polzin, Rose V Polzin, and Frank A Polzin, some of whom had several children, who then provided over 3 dozen great grandchildren to Joseph and Michaelina. Michaelina died on November 11, 1930. She was buried on November 13, 1930 in St John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw,Michigan
