ELIZABETH PITTMAN JOHNSON

Elizabeth Pittman Johnson, 45, beloved daughter, mother and sister died March 1, 2006. She was born on January 25, 1961 in Monroe, LA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Pittman, Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Emerson, U.S. Army PFC and Amanda Johnson of Haughton, LA; her mother, Maude Pittman of Monroe; two sisters, Ethel Rodden of Choudrant, LA and Angela Patton of Monroe; two brothers, Howard Pittman, Jr. of Texas City, TX and Michael Pittman of West Monroe and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of St. Frederick High School, Class of 1979. A lifelong Catholic, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroe until she moved to Haughton. She became a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Bossier. She was employed by the law firm of Cook, Yancy, King, and Galloway of Shreveport for twenty years.

She was a wonderful person who brought joy to the lives of others. She will be greatly missed. To all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Baylor Hospital, Texas and the staff of Grace Home, Shreveport, we wish to thank you for the care that you gave. To all her many friends and co-workers who came and supported us through these trying times, thank you. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the YWCA of Northwest Louisiana or your local domestic abuse shelter.
