She was married to James Alfred Chandler (1889–1962) on October 25, 1908 in Robertson County, and he was the son of James Richard Chandler (1861–1951) and his wife Nicie Ann (Chandler) Chandler (1863–1916).

In Fountain Head, Sumner County, Flossie was 60 years old and married when she died of a cerebral hemorrhage on October 27, 1951.
