Funeral services will be held In Punxsutawney Friday for Eugene Bennett, of Front Sreet, a former resident of Big Run who died Tuesday in the Adrian Hospital at the age of 77.

A retired miner, he was a lifelong resident of this area.
He was born in Big Run January 25, 1892,
a son of Frederick & Ada Woods Bennett and May 6, 1911,
was married to Anna Welder.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church,The Macabees and the United Mine Workers of America.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters
and two sons:
Mrs. James Whitesell of Rochester. N. Y.;
Mrs. Bernard Bowser, of Punxsutawney;
Charles Bennett. of Reynoldsville
and Maurice Bennett, of Sharpsville.
He leaves also three grandchildren,
two great-grandchildren, two step-grandsons
and a sister and three brothers:
Mrs. Lawrence Bundy of Big Run;
Lester Bennett, of Port Charlotte. Florida,
and Theodore Bennett, of Youngstown, 0hio.

The Rev. Larry Hauck will officiate and
interment will be in the McClure Cemetery in Big Run.
