Hoboken - Clyde Crews, 70 of Hoboken, passed away late Saturday evening (June 22, 2013) at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross following a brief illness.

Born in Hoboken, GA., his parents were the late Charlie and Laura Willis Crews. He is also preceded by 2 brothers, Valene and Marvin Crews.

Clyde was of the Christian Faith and retired from The Boilermakers Local 199. He was a member of The River Swamp Hunting & Fishing Club. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed planting a garden.

Survived by 2-sons and daughters-in-law, Toby and Pam Crews, of Blackshear, Joey and Michelle Crews, of Hoboken, a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Glenn Thrift, of Hoboken, 2-brothers and sisters-in-law, Burnice and Joan Crews, of Hoboken, James and Reba Crews, of Nahunta, 2-sisters and a brother-in-law, Aline & Rayford Griner, of Jesup and Mary Crosby, of Nahunta, A very special cousin and best friend, Framan Crews, of Hoboken, 5-grandchildren, Brady Carter, Jayden Crews, Dustin Crews, Aaron Blackstock and Kristi Montgomery,1 special great niece, Caden ,a special great nephew, Jace, also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Monday evening (June 24, 2013) from 6-9 P.M. at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Mr. Crews will be Tuesday (June 25, 2013) at 11 A.M. from The Chapel of Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta with Rev. Charles Florey officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Waycross.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Davis, Dettra Crews, Bill Middleton, Mike Johns, Ronnie Johns and David Presley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of The Boiler Makers Local 199 and Conrad Edwards. Honorary are ask to meet at the Funeral Home Tuesday at 10:30 A.M.

The family of Mr. Clyde Crews will be meeting at the home of his brother James and Reba Crews at Angel Way in Nahunta.

Donations may be made to Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at 3319 Katie Dr. Blackshear, GA. 31516
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
