Elizabeth (Ebbie) Wingo Adamson, 84, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Adamson attended Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Adamson, parents, Melmoth and Thelma Wingo; brothers, Terry Wingo, Kent and Doris Wingo; sisters, Pauline and Marvin Bruce, Mary Lou and Elbert Bruce.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Inez and Bill McCardell of Acworth, GA, Fay and Buddy McFarland, Paulette and Jim Thurman, Kay and Wayne Hodge; son and wife; Greg and Louise Adamson all of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Bill and Clela Wingo, Aron and Betty Jo Wingo, Glover and Pat Wingo; sister-in-law, Billie Jean Wingo; grandchildren, Saundra, Mark, Becky, Nick, Keith, Kevin, Wendy, Michael Paul, Sarah; great grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Kayla, Betsy, Savanah, Garett, Tanner, Tyler, Erich, Ashley and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2009 at 2:30 PM at the North Chapel with the Rev. Tylan Blansit officiating.
Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 and on Saturday from 1:00 until the time of the service at the North Chapel.
Arrangements are made by Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Hwy 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
