She was in the 66th year of her age, and had been a sufferer from Bright's disease for several years, having been confined to her bed for more than three months preceding her death.
Deceased was a daughter of Adam Andes and was born at the old Andes place, several miles north of Harrisonburg. For forty five years she had been a consistent member of the United Brethren Church.
Her funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at the U.B. Church at Lacey, and the services were conducted by Revs. Berry and Fadely.
A very large gathering of relatives and friends were present to pay last tribute of respect to one who was held in the highest esteem by the entire community.
The pallbearers were Herbert Coffman, Reuben W. Moore, M.J. Martz, C.J. Brock, Samuel R. Bowman, Tom Willis, John W. Stearn, and Dr. E.D. Davis.
Mrs. Allebaugh is survived by her husband, three sons, and four daughters, all of whom are married and reside within a short distance of the parental homestead.
