Burial with Military Graveside Honors will be in Gatte Cemetery under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.
Funeral home visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. today, Tuesday; and 8:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
Mr. Bellard died 2:45 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Bellard was a lifelong resident of the Evangeline/Iota area. He was a retired tool pusher in the oil and gas industry. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Bellard was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Panchoville.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Miller Bellard of Iota, one daughter, Charlotte Gail Bonin of Sulphur; three sons, Bryan Keith Bellard of Iota, Kennon Joel Bellard of Jennings, and Michael Todd Bellard of Sulphur; one sister, Lena LeJeune of Jennings; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Bellard and one son, Byron Bellard.
