Jennings: Funeral services for Grace Miller Bellard, 73, will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Miller French Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Cheire officiating. She passed away peacefully Sunday evening. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:30 PM until 10:00 PM and at Miller French Baptist Church at 10:00 AM visitation will resume Wednesday until the time of service. Mrs. Bellard will be laid to rest in Gatte's Cemetery following the services.
Mrs. Bellard was born to the late Phillip and Zora Miller on August 16, 1935. She was a homemaker and played piano at New Hope Baptist Church in Panchoville. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Leaving behing to cherish her memory are her loving children, Bryan Bellard and wife Rolanda of Gott's Cove, Todd Bellard of Sulphur, Joel Bellard of Jennings, and Charlotte Gail Bonin and husband Brad of Sulphur; one brother, Bobby Miller of Lafayette; two sisters, Eljay Gotte of West Lake and Bonnie Miller of Slidell; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Felix Bellard; 1 son, Byron Bellard; and 1 daughter, Susan Bellard.
