The late Eligh Taylor was born Aug. 23, 1917 at Monroe, LA. He was the son of the late John and Katie Taylor. He departed this life on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 4:10 p.m. at St Vincent Doctor's Hospital with Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock.
At an early age his family moved to Eudora, AR. He confessed Christ at an early age with New Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Smith. He moved to New Orleans, LA and from there to Pine Bluff, AR where he lived until his health started to fail him.He moved to Lttle Rock in Nov. 2002 where he remained until his death.
Mr. Taylor retired from the New Orleans Police Dept. in 1982. While living in Pine Bluff, he begain a new job, working in the security department for Tyson Foods until his second retirement. He gained many friends, and was known for his love of fishing and his ready smile.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, and two sisters.
