Samuel Boyd Keng, born March 21, 1924, died September 28, 2008 with his loving wife, daughter and son by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam W. Keng and Mamie Keng, brother Lee Roy King, sisters Ruth Dale, Inez Heinemann and brother Winston Keng. He is survived by his wife Verlene Keng, daughter Phyllis Rao and husband Mike Rao, son Kenneth Keng and wife Cindy Keng, four grandsons, Michael Rao and wife Angela, Anthony Rao, Nick Rao and Simon Keng, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II and was employed by the Hughes Tool Co. for 39 years. Visitation will be held Wednesday October 1, 2008 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Services will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale, October 2, 2008 at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Houston National Cemetery.
