She was married on 21 September 1876 to B.F. Pifer and they were the parents of seven children,two of whom died in infancy and a son,E. Phillip who preceaded her in death 14 months previous..

Mother of H. F. Pifer Died Last Evening
Mrs. B. F. Pifer,well known resident of the Paradise section,died at her home yesterday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock. Death was due to complications due to old age..
The deceased was aged 75 years and had she lived until July would have celebrated her 76th birthday anniversary.
She was formerly Miss Katy Kuntz and was well known and highly respected in her home community.
She is survived by the following children,her husband having died in 1927:
~ Harry F. Pifer of near Big Run,manager of the local Atlantic & Pacific Store;
~ Rev. Walter Pifer of Kenosha,Wisconsin;
~ Paul Pifer of Cleveland;
~ Mrs. Charles Keller of Paradise.
The body will be taken to the Paradise Reformed Church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and will lie in state until 2;30 when funeral services,conducted by Rev. Wm. von Spreckelsen,of this place will be held.
