Funeral of Mrs. E.N. Phillips
Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Norris Phillips, wife of the Rev. Dr. P.P. Phillips, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church were conducted in St. Paul's Church at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning with Rev. Dr. S.A. Wallis of the Episcopal Theological Seminary of Virginia, assisted by the Rev. Dr. W.J. Morton of Christ Episcopal Church and the Rev. Edgar Carpenter of Grace Episcopal Church.
These members of the vestry of St. Paul's Church were the pallbearers: John R. Zimmerman, Edward L. Daingerfield, Urban S. Lambert, William B. Smoot, Dr. George T. Klipstein, C.S. Taylor Burke, Laurence Stabler, Judge J.K.M. Norton, Arthur Herbert, T. Calvert Perry, E.C. Dunn and James S. Smythe. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Georgetown, D.C.
