SAMUEL A. HELSEL
Died yesterday at his home near East Freedom. He was born in Taylor township, near Roaring Spring, Sept. 21, 1864, and was united in marriage to Barbara A. Feather in 1885. She preceded him in death April 17, 1939. Surviving are the following children: Adam Helsel of Juniata, Grant of Duncansville, Ira of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Anna Dick of Roaring Spring, Mrs. D.L. Miller of Claysburg, Mrs. George Detterline of Claysburg, R.D., and Lydia, at home; 41 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was a member of the Leamersville Brethren church. Friends will be received at the home of a son, Grant Helsel, Duncansville.

HELSEL--Funeral services for Samuel A. Helsel of Freedom township, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at Albright Church of the Brethren in charge of Rev. C.L. Cox and Rev. G.Q. Showalter. Interment in Albright cemetery. Friends will be received at the home of H.G. Helsel, 802 Third avenue, Duncansville.
