Daniel W. "Dan" Pullium, 65, of Andrews died Thursday (November 1, 2007) in a Murphy hospital. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Chess Pullium. Dan had worked for about 20 years as an exterminator for Nantahala Exterminating Company and had attended the Andrews Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Savone Mathis.
Surviving are his wife, Rozelle "Rose" Whitaker Pullium; a daughter, Regina Wright and husband, Roy of Andrews; two sons, Danny Pullium and wife, Donna of Marble and Stan Pullium of Robbinsville; his mother, Dorothy Mae Brown Pullium of Andrews; three sisters, Sharon Guffey, Shirley Tatham, and Shelia Pullium all of Andrews; five brothers, Dean Pullium of Murphy, Dale Pullium of Marble, Darrell Pullium of Knoxville, TN, Dillard Pullium of Forest City, NC, and David Pullium of Andrews; and eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Private family funeral service at 2:00 PM Sunday (Nov. 4) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews with the Rev. Mark Sparks officiating. Interment in Valley River Cemetery. Pallbearers: Roy Wright, Tommy Ramsey, Ricky Cope, Jonathan Pullium, Jonathan Moore, and Jason Holloway.
The family viewed from 12-1:45 Sunday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews prior to the services.
