Savonne Aileen Pullium, Mathis, 64, of Anderson, S. C., died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at Anderson Area Medical Center.

Born in Cherokee County, NC, she was a homemaker and a member of Free Spirit Christian Fellowship of Anderson.

Surviving are widower, Lloyd F. Mathis of the home; sons, Lloyd Gary Mathis of Seneca, SC, Joey Ray Mathis of Belton, SC; daughters, Lavonne Geralene Rice of Seneca, SC, Geneva Haney and Teresa Eileen Vaughn, both of Anderson, SC; mother Dorothy Mae Brown Pullium of Andrews; brothers, Dean Pullium of Murphy, Dale Pullium of Marble, David Pullium of Andrews, Darrell Pullium of Knoxville, TN, and Dillard Pullium of Rutherfordton; sisters, Sharon Guffey and Shirley Tatham, both of Andrews, and Shelia Lumb of Charleston, SC; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Chess Pullium of Andrews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 26, at Pruitt Funeral Home, Honea Path, SC. The Pastor Roger L. Haney and the Rev. Jerry Tatham officiated. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Anderson, SC.
