Opal passed gently late afternoon Friday from Alzheimer's at age 90.

We have been missing "her" for some time.

"Farewell sweet spirit" from all who love you - especially your privileged children: Deon Kane, Fay Ellison, Ray Satterfield, and Janet Satterfield.

She is also survived by 11 adoring grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Opal loved music and dancing to the end.

She often said her life had far exceeded any dreams she could have conjured as a young woman growing up in rural poverty.

Oldest of 15 Children (three surviving) she always felt loved, so gave much love.

She traveled the world in beautiful clothes with a style to match her elegance and beauty.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 1300 South 2350 East, where friends may call one hour prior to service.

In lieu of flowers: Utah Lung Association, 1930 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106.
