"On Friday night of the 23rd inst., Mrs. Mary F., wife of Worthington Johnson, Esq., of this city. In apparent good health, visiting her connections on the previous Saturday, attending with deep interest in the House of God. On Sunday, in the comforting assurance of the last text, permitted to the sound of her ears, that "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." She was thence summond (sic) through 5 days of severe suffering to the place prepared for her, in her Father's House. The mother of 5 tender children, too young to be conscious of bereavement."
