NOBLE. 26 June 1969: Rev. Louis Purcell, pastor of the First Methodist church in Jerseyville, conducted funeral rites Monday morning at 10:00 o'clock at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home for Mrs. Addie Noble of Grafton whose death occurred at 4:40 Thursday afternoon at Garnet's Chateau in Jerseyville. Her age at time of death was eighty-two years, six months, and twenty-two days. Burial was in Valhalla Memorial Park. Born 27 November 1886 in Jersey County she was the daughter of Marion Otto and Maria Cresswell Allen. Mrs. Noble was a member of the Grafton Royal Neighbors and the Salem Methodist church. Her survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Zelma Hake of Elsah; one son, Tyrus Noble of Shipman; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lena Wallace of Jerseyville. Visitation hours were held at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Noble was the widow of Clarence Noble.
