Mrs Elvira Price, aged seventy-seven years, well known and respected woman passed away at 9:40 o'clock this morning at her home on Decatur Route No 4. Although death was not wholly unexpected, it came as a shock to her family and host of friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs J S Washburn of Decatur, Route No 1; Mrs J F Thompson of Route No 4; and Mrs Jack Best of Bangor, Route No 1; three brothers, J B Standridge of Danville, Route No 1; B M Standridge of Bangor, Route No 1; and J S Standridge of Hayden, Alabama and one sister, Mrs W E Price of Trinity, Route No 1; fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday at Caddo by the Rev Mr Toon. Interment will be in the family lot.
