Funeral services for Arthur Stowe were held 3pm Saturday Nov. 11, 1970 at Southern Baptist Church with Roger Tribble officiating.
Burial was in Mt.Rose Memorial Park under the direction of Colonial Chapel.
Wayne Byrd, accompanied by Richard Dickerman, organist, sang "How Great Thou Art" and "I Won't Have to Cross Jordan Alone".
Escorts were Lynn, John and Dwight Stowe, George and Everett Kastler, Harold Jones, David Scarf and Jim Sanders.

Arthur Charles, son of John Lemuel and Mary Elizabeth (Johnson) Stowe was born April 6, 1881 in Laclede County and passed away November 11, 1970 in Wallace Hospital.
He was united in marriage to Jessie K. Bennett on December 11, 1907 and four children were born to them.
He spent his entire life on a farm and was a member of the Washington Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie of the home; three sons, Lemuel V. and Everett B. of Lebanon, Charles of Marne, IA; one daughter, Mary Kastler of Lebanon; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Hayes of Claremore, OK; one half-sister, Mrs. Mable Blade of Republic; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
