AGED INDIAN WOMAN CLAIMED BY DEATH
Nespelem, Wash., May 22 - Funeral services were held in the Keller schoolhouse Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Nellie Whitelaw. One of the oldest Indian women on the Colville reservation, she was born between 1845 and 1850. All of her life was spent in the Keller region and in the Big Bend.
She leaves four children, Pete of the Colville Indian agency, Gus and Mrs. Laura Bacon of Keller and Mrs. Nettie Bratton of Spokane.
