Prior to his retirement, Mr. Taylor had been employed at the Material Service Corp. in Fairmount for 24 years.
Born Nov. 25, 1897, in Tilton, he was the son of William Henry and Matilda Certain Taylor. He married Beaulah Long on Oct. 17, 1931 and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jack of Danville and William of Fairmount; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Glenn of Fairmount; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Bohland of Danville; and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday at Carrington Funeral Home with the Rev. Burton Heleine officiating. Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery at Fairmount.
