Emil was the son of Phillip and Sophie Schnider Peters. He was the second husband of Alberta Holland Wade. Their son, Emil Alex Peters, is buried in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.

My grandfather,William H Peter,signed the death certificate, and the obit names him as brother in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, along with other family members. Alex A.Peter was a twin brother. Peter family came from Fredericksburg who came from Germany in 1845.
