Norman G. Middleton

Friends of Mr. Norman G. Middleton, 70, of 214 West Eleventh Street, will regret to learn of his death at a local hospital yesterday afternoon after an illness of three weeks. He was a native of Wayne County, GA, but had been a resident of this city for the last year and a half. Surviving him are his bereaved widow, Mrs. Dora Middleton; four daughters, Mrs. J.W. Daniels, of Fort Meade; Mrs. John Hodge of Palatka, and Misses Doris and Pansey Middleton, both of this city; three sons, E. F. Middleton of Charleston SC, R.C. Middleton of Bradenton, and N.G. Middleton Jr., of this city; also two brothers, A.D. Middleton and A.G. Middleton, both of Thelman GA. The funeral cortege will leave the residence at 9 o'clock this morning for Waverly, GA. Funeral services will be conducted at the grave. Interment will be in the family plot in Langsbury Cemetery* under the direction of the Marcus Conant Company.

* It is unclear if the cemetery name is a mistake of the newspaper, or if this is an older name for Homeward Cemetery.
