Mrs. A. Banning, Ashland, Dies At Age of 86 Years.
Mrs. Emma Banning, mother of Harry Banning, of Mount Carmel, and William Banning, of Mount Carmel Junction, died last night at the home of another son, Leonard Banning, 1720 Center St., Ashland, at the age of 86 years. She had been bedfast three weeks.
Mrs. Banning, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lempke was a member of the Zion Reformed Church, Ashland. He husband, the late Aaron Banning died twelve years ago.
Other survivors besides the above mentioned sons are two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Smith, Mrs. Ida Curley, both of Locust Dale; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at two pm on Tuesday in the Kull Funeral home, Ashland. The Rev. John M. Weaver will be in charge and burial will be made in the Lavelle cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Kull Home Monday evening.
